Wii Part Two.

In case you are wondering how my wii adventure went this morning. This is how it unfolded.

My mother said that I should try to be there by 7:00 because the line would start forming early. Man was she right. I got there at 5 mins till 7 and there were already 3 people in line. I hurried to the end of the line and within 5 mins there were about 15 more cars in the parking lot. I said in the cold on the sidewalk for two hours. FREEZING MY BUNS OFF. but I was determined to get a wii. As I looked down the line and saw the 20 or more people behind me I was hoping that they would not come out and do a lottery or something crazy like that. But at 9:00 on the nose they send a co worker out with tickets in hand. A guy near the end of the line yelled out. "give us some good news. How many?" His reply 13. 13 I thought, Gee the odds are pretty good unless they do a drawing. He handed a ticket to the first guy in line, then the next. Then he said, What I am handing out our vouchers. If you get a voucher you get a wii. I got my voucher. #4 was mine. Yes.... I was so happy because I had been thinking about giving up and heading for home. I was a good 10 mins from making that trip back to the car. He handed out the remainder of the vouchers and headed back inside. The sidewalk where I had been sitting with my umbrella in hand had now become to wet to sit down. Well looks like I have to stand up for an hour now (I thought). at 9:18 he came back out and said if you have a voucher you can come into the lobby and wait out of the rain. Some people had been standing in the rain for more than an hour. They did not think to bring an umbrella like me. We waited inside and I thought I would have to wait till 10:00 when they opened to go get my wii. at 9:40 they came out and said we need ticket holders 1 - 4 to come in now. The reason they brought us in first was because they shipped them 13 wiis and only about 8 or 9 of the extra controllers. (the wii comes with one) So I thought about it and I went ahead and purchased the extra controller. I asked if they were always available. The guy said they were supposed to be, but they are scarse like the wii. So I bought it. I did have a great time playing it this morning and I can't wait till that exercise program comes out. And for those who are wondering Sheila was feeling much better this morning. She is not 100% yet, but she is getting there.

Blessings till I post again.
