TV, Music and Christmas

Have you seen this TV show called Clash of the choirs? I am watching it while doing this blog and I have to tell you I like it. And like most TV shows that I stumble on that I like I have found that this is the Finale. Oh well, Life goes on. I guess I'll have to look it up on you space to see it. I'm sure they will have it posted by tomorrow. I just love music and songs that just move you. They sang What a wonderful world. Man it sent a chill up my spine. If you turn on the radio now days you just don't hear to much of what I consider good music or singing like that. I know people like a wide variety of music and some people only like one style. I tend to fit into the one style. My favorite hands down is gospel. If I made a pie chart of my favorites I bet gospel would fit into about 95% and various other's would go in that last 5 percent. Speaking of music you would think that I would be listening to non stop Christmas music. Which I have been listening but not like I normally do. Maybe Christmas Eve that is what I'll listen to. But as you may have already guessed I am still hooked on a few songs. A new song I am hooked on is called every time I feel the spirit. It is sung by a group called Acappella. These guys knock it out of the park. I know I have made this analogy on so many songs before, but I gotta tell you that I am not exaggerating one bit. I'm sure my co-workers are loosing sanity because I think I have had almost all of them listen to this song. I'm sure they just listen and say that's nice just to make me feel good. I don't know if their spirit is lifted as much as mine is when I listen to this song over and over again. But I just hope that they can find something to give them that warm fuzzy feeling all over. I think everyone needs something that they can pull out in a moments notice to lift their spirit when they are sagging low.

Wow, Christmas is creeping up fast. I did manage to get my Secret Santa gift wrapped tonight. Tomorrow is our exchange. I still need to go shopping for Sheila. Yes this is December 20th and I should have it done by now, but as many of you know I have not had much time with all the over time I have been working. As it stands right now my next day off will be Christmas Day. Then it starts all over again. It's just the way our business is this time of year. Come Mid January we will be back to normal hours and I will probably sleep for a week (just kidding).
