It's not Thanksgiving yet, but I was just sitting here listening to the quiet of the night (and the water in the aquarium). I just started thinking how Thankful I am. I am so blessed and have so much to be Thankful for. I wonder if other people ever take time out of there day to go through their own personal Thankful list. I have the most beautiful, caring wife that anyone could ever hope for. I have a roof over my head. We are both blessed to have our on cars for transportation. We have running water, Electric, food, jobs, health, the list just goes on and on. In the times we live in now it is so easy to complain about the high cost of gas. Thank God we have gas to complain about. We complain about loosing electric for a week. Thank God we have electric to loose for a week. We complain if the person in front of us at the grocery is slower than slow. Thank God we are alive and standing in a long line. Does this mean that I do not get frustrated and inpatient? of course not. Just ask my wife, She will tell you how impatient I can be. But Thank God I am alive to be impatient. I need to work on being more patient. I used to be a very patient person but the older I get the more impatient I seem to become. I need to work on that. But tonight I am so Thankful that I am alive and have so many special people in my life who encourage me and love me.
Blessings till I post again. (Be Thankful!!!)

oh sweet power
Our power came back up yesterday (Wednesday) at 5:53pm. We lost power on Sunday at 1:00pm. It wasn't that bad being without. Just a minor inconvenience. It could have been much worse than it was. We stayed with Sheila's Mom until we got power back. Times like this make you appreciate how good you have it. Our biggest tragedy was that we lost 5 of the 6 fish in the pond. Sheila called feeders supply and was told that they died because of lack of oxygen in the water. That's because the pump was not running and putting oxygen in the water. Chloe was the sole survivor. We will replace the ones that died in the spring. We lost a big pine tree to the storm. This pine tree has been through alot. It has been hit by lightning 2 times in the past 3 years. Who says lightning does not strike the same place twice. Matter of fact the empire state building gets struck by lightning several times a year. So that myth was busted long before our poor pine tree came into play.
We purchased a wii fit on Monday. We finally got to use it tonight. You really get a full body work out on it. I can't wait to work out again tomorrow night.
Blessings till I post again.
